Veteran Suicide Prevention

Connection. Hope. Support When It Matters Most.

Every veteran life matters. Veteran suicide is a profound and urgent challenge, one that demands awareness, meaningful resources, strong communities, and a willingness to reach veterans before a moment of crisis becomes a tragedy.

The Linchpin Foundation is committed to supporting organizations and initiatives focused on veteran suicide prevention, mental wellness, early intervention, and connection to care. Our goal is simple but vital: help ensure veterans know they are not alone and that meaningful support is within reach.

Our Commitment

Military service can leave veterans facing challenges that are not always visible. Trauma, physical injury, difficulty transitioning to civilian life, isolation, and other personal and economic pressures can create significant challenges for veterans and their families. At the same time, stigmas and barriers to accessing support can prevent individuals from reaching out when they need help.

The Linchpin Foundation supports organizations working to change that. Through partnerships, funding, awareness, and resource connections, we help strengthen programs that provide veterans with access to crisis intervention, counseling, peer support, care coordination, and community-based services. There is no single solution to veteran suicide. Effective prevention requires a network of people, organizations, resources, and communities prepared to recognize a veteran in need and help connect that individual with appropriate support. That can mean immediate crisis intervention. It can also mean having someone to talk to, finding a trusted peer, receiving counseling, navigating available services, or reconnecting with a supportive community.

We believe prevention begins with connection.
